A successful opening weekend had by Fresh Arts in Sydney on 3 July:
Six Fresh Arts members opened their first Sydney show at Thirning Villa, Ashfield on 3 July, which also celebrated the start of Jack Randells three-month residency at the space, hosted by Ashfield Council. The one week show attracted great interest, with Jack aiming to assist local artists set up a similar organisation to Fresh Arts during his time at Ashfield. (See the works on the Gallery page).
Connect+Create day for Fresh Arts members:
14 Fresh Arts members met on 29 May for the first Connect+Create day - with plenty of art making, talking, sharing of ideas and food taking place over several hours. The success of this day has ensured another in the spring, with Ken and Lea Tucker kindly offering their place for the day, on a date to be advised.
